Turkey Trouble! Lookout Turkeys! This adorable book by Wendi Silvano was truly one of our favorite read alouds at this time of year.
Turkey CRAFT! We extended our read aloud further by reviewing information about Turkeys. To tie in turkeys further we made cute little turkeys. We used the adorable template found on The First Grade Parade's Blog.Then to make the turkey feathers, we sponge painted white paper and finally glued on craft feathers.
Turkey Math! We practiced our number recognition and counting skills with candy corn! Aren't these foam turkeys (dollar tree) adorable? It was a yummy way to learn math!
It comes with a booklet that's available in color and black & white so your little ones can color it!
To help build student's vocabulary, I've also included 12 WampanoagVocabulary Cards to go with this activity!
