We are linking up with Doodlebugs Teaching this Friday to bring you a recap of the week in FIVE FOR FRIDAY!!!
Since Turkey Day is next week, we wanted to share with you some of our favorite Turkey Activities. Gobble! Gobble!
TURKEY FREEBIE! Click on the image above to grab our latest Freebie! We created an original poem, inspired by "Five Little Pumpkins." This pocket chart activity is perfect for your THANKSGIVING Literacy Centers!
Turkey Trouble! Lookout Turkeys! This adorable book by Wendi Silvano was truly one of our favorite read alouds at this time of year.
Turkey CRAFT! We extended our read aloud further by reviewing information about Turkeys. To tie in turkeys further we made cute little turkeys. We used the adorable template found on The First Grade Parade's Blog. Then to make the turkey feathers, we sponge painted white paper and finally glued on craft feathers.
Turkey Math! We practiced our number recognition and counting skills with candy corn! Aren't these foam turkeys (dollar tree) adorable? It was a yummy way to learn math!
