Happy 100th Day of School!  We are one hundred days smarter! To grab the little one's attention, I started out by showing him a jar filled with 100 skittles.  Once we finished guessing the amount, we counted the skittles using our 100s chart. This activity is really an easy way to celebrate the 100th day!

100th Day Worries ~ book to read

100th Day Worries!  What will Jessica take to class for the 100th day of school?  In this adorable little story, "100th Day Worries," by Margery Cuyler, a little girl worries about the object she will bring to celebrate the 100th day of school.  What will you bring in for the 100th day of school?

Finger painting ten frames! Ten frames are great for showing order and organization. Students can really see the quantity and its relation to ten when you use the ten-frames. To make our ten-frame counting colorful and even more meaningful, we used our fingers! Combining art and math is so much fun!

100th Day Crowns!  To help us celebrate our 100 days of learning, after we colored our crowns and glasses(you can grab the template here) we took 100 steps!
