We are linking up with Doodle Bugs this Friday to bring you a recap of the week in FIVE FOR FRIDAY!!! We celebrated our 100th Day of School this week! Here's a few easy engaging activities to help your little ones have fun with the number 100!
Happy 100th Day of School! We are one hundred days smarter! To grab the little one's attention, I started out by showing him a jar filled with 100 skittles. Once we finished guessing the amount, we counted the skittles using our 100s chart. This activity is really an easy way to celebrate the 100th day!
Finger painting ten frames! Ten frames are great for showing order and organization. Students can really see the quantity and its relation to ten when you use the ten-frames. To make our ten-frame counting colorful and even more meaningful, we used our fingers! Combining art and math is so much fun!
100th Day Crowns! To help us celebrate our 100 days of learning, after we colored our crowns and glasses(you can grab the template here) we took 100 steps!
100th Day of School Booklet
100th Day of School Literacy! Over the past week we had a BLAST reading and filling out the pages of our 100th Day of School booklet, reading from our 100th day read aloud, counting up to 100 using our 100s chart, and finger painting ten frames!
