After reading "David Goes to School" by David Shannon, have students discuss classroom rules and procedures. In this story, David has trouble following the rules and listening to the teacher! This is the perfect way to launch into a discussion about rules and respect. My David's Classroom Rules Activity is great for little ones during their first few weeks of school! I love this book because it not only emphasizes students should follow the rules, it also lets them know that they will still be loved and forgiven if they make mistakes! We are still trying REALLY hard to understand this!
After our discussion, we filled out our very own booklet about Classroom Rules, inspired by David Shannon's David Goes to School. We even made our own version of David! Click on the image to see more!

Book Bin Labels
Drawer Cart and Labels
This Tuesday our "Tried it" is our brand new rolling cart we picked up for only $25 at Sams Club! We desperately needed to organize our weekly materials so we are set and ready to go for the week! This cart does just that!
The cart itself comes with knobs but instead of using them, we decided to use Velcro dots and cover up the holes(where the knobs were supposed to go). This way, we can always switch our labels!
If you like the labels, you can find them in our brand new Editable Labels Pack! There are 40 included. Simply Edit, Print, and Cut!!! Click on the image below to see them!
We are updating our classroom library books! I made a set of Polka dot book bin labels to organize our classroom library. Click here to see them.
Get Organized! Organize your classroom with one of my sets of labels. They are editable so you can edit the text size, font, and color! Spruce up your classroom and stay organized this year! One of our projects this summer was to organize our classroom supplies! I made a set of labels to help us stay organized. They are available in my teachers pay teachers store.
